Modus got the request from the British fix shop that was searching for an American truck for restauration. The idea was to find a well-maintained pickup with minor defects to repair. Mechanics from the UK was interested in some original parts for this model as well. This fix shop had a client with the desire to purchase the vehicle with light damages eliminated.
Together with the repair set for the pickup truck, we received the order for some tuning accessories to make the transportation unit stylized according to the purchaser’s desire. While all the insights were discussed with the UK-based client, our team started the search and made all the necessary around-arrangement preparations for the auction session.
What Was Done?
We started with the research of the optimal pickup truck of 1990-2000. Together with the client’s feedback, our specialists picked sides with three accessible variants – Ford Skyranger (1991), Chevrolet C1500 (1991), and Dodge Dakota (1999).
The client decided to order a Dodge Dakota (1999), together with the repair set and tuning accessories for the fix shop and all the restoration procedures. We initiated the auction session and prepared all the documents for the purchase, shipment, and storage.
The vehicle was checked. The client got detailed information about VIN code, tech specifications, and light damages that took place. Everything was confirmed and documented in the agreement. Then, our team got ready for the shipment operations.
Finally, the client was satisfied with the price, terms, and cooperation in general. This British fix shop made the vehicle roadworthy and sold to the customer from London. Now, the American pickup is driven throughout UK roads.
